In the land of Glorista, the Horned King is on the move. His ever-vigilant servants are working to revive Maedel, an ancient evil that once terrorized the continent. The Six Heroes, defenders of the continent, have all been killed save one. But a new group of heroes arises, each of them with a unique power that at once drives them toward madness and yet provides them the tools they will need to combat the Horned King and Maedel. And in their midst is a young orphan named Val, who has been entrusted with a pendant with enough power to sink Glorista.
