When his mother was diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer, author, speaker, and producer Kristopher James looked for a book to help support him through the turbulent emotional times waiting for him ahead.

When he was unable to find such a book, Kristopher knew he had to write it himself. So, after his mother succumbed to the terrible disease thirteen months later, Kristopher used the extensive journals he’d kept during her struggle and after her death to help others going through the same overwhelming grief and helplessness.
