About
This book is a group of poems that I have written at different points in my life. Some very low points and some very high points. The reason behind it is to help someone that can relate to the different things that I have experienced. Like at one point in my life, I didn't believe God was real. Also there was a couple of years that I was away from home and missed out on a lot of Jason's school functions and sports. I realized these were moments that I wouldn't get back. Then times like when I got off the road and was home and how God just blessed us so much. The Lord has put this on my heart years ago, and I was like, what can I possibly write about that anyone would want to read? Then one year, around Father's Day, I was driving to south Texas for work, thinking about the sacrifices my dad made for me and my brothers. So I wrote this poem for him for Father's Day. Telling him what he meant to me and how I saw all the sacrifices he made for us. These poems have a lot of emotion put in them. I think I have cried writing most of them. Some are written on pure emotion, while others are written on my beliefs. I pray that this book touches your life or someone you know. I give God all the glory because without him, this wouldn't be possible.
