About
Imagine a small group of scrappy men, women and children, going up against the German army, and winning! And it really happened. Naples 1943: Besieged is a historical thriller series based on the legendary "Four Days of Naples."

Book 1 opens with the burning of the University of Naples, German retaliation for the ambush and killing of their men. Mateo Delisi is the former fascist editor of the local newspaper. He and his assistant now publish a secret anti-fascist newsletter out of a bombed out hotel on the waterfront. When Mateo tries to stop the arson at the university, he finds himself caught in the ensuing turmoil. Nazi gunmen retaliate against the protesting Italians. Mateo kills the snipers and flees with his friend, the orphaned street boy, Gianni.

A city-wide hunt for Mateo ensues. When Mateo’s wife is arrested by the secret police, Mateo must choose. Does he try to free his wife from his former friend, the police chief, who is using her to lure Mateo to his death? Or does Mateo risk his life to print his call-to-rebellion, urging Neapolitans to drive the Germans and fascists out of Naples? He chooses to do both. Find out how….

Book 2 of this three-part series will be completed in the beginning of 2017. Book 3 will be available later in 2017. Hopefully!
