About
The Museum of Modern Art, New York, commissioned this recording, which contains three takes of Fanny Howe's poem, "Widowed House," written in response to Doris Salcedo's sculpture La casa viuda IV (Widowed house IV). The recording was made for the Woodberry Poetry Room by Harvard University's Media Production Center. The museum selected one of the three readings for inclusion in an exhibit of Salcedo's work.
