Ugly Rocks: Poems of grief, loss, and healing

Ugly Rocks is the debut poetry collection of Charlie Kilo Romeo, written as she struggled with trauma, grief, loss, self-discovery, and healing with her two children after ten years of the care-taking and eventual death of her young husband to brain cancer. Examining the traumas that break us and the often painful mending of those wounds, Charlie pulls out her guts and displays them on the pages inside in the hopes that by laying them out, they can be picked through and made into a medicine for someone else.
