Red Moon Rising is the OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) novel just as Monk is the OCD television series and The Aviator is the OCD movie. A Michigan Supreme Court Justice with Hollywood good looks is a rising star in the Republican Party. When his beloved wife dies in childbirth, the shock triggers OCD. Missing deadlines, pressured by colleagues, he resigns. He retreats to Red Moon, his ancestral farm, pulls himself together in the rural surroundings, and declares war on his illness.
