Mirror Image: Journey to forgiveness

When Detective James Hunter is sent to investigate an apparent drug overdose, he is overwhelmed with the feeling that there is more to the young victim’s story. This feeling is validated when he looks at the body of the young woman who looks identical to his friend, Molly Blake. At first, he fears it is Molly, but he notices a tattoo of a rose on the woman’s right wrist where Molly has a strawberry birthmark. Though the victim has no identification, Hunter is sure this is the sister Molly refuses to talk about. After he breaks the news to Molly, he takes her to identify the body which does turn out to be Molly’s twin, Macy, who ran away from home at the age of seventeen. In order to unravel the mystery of her death, they must discover the mystery of her life in the missing years. Where has she been? Why was she in Mathis? How did she end up in that alley? Who would have wanted to kill her? As they seek to find answers to these questions, they uncover surprising secrets and gain insight into their own lives.
