About
Abstract: This popular work is a "long-life" diet guide for the general public. By following the "high/low" diet, the author feels that the reader can increase his/her longevity as well as increase the number of productive years. The diet is designed to promote weight loss and reduce the risks of a variety of degenerative diseases including heart disease, cancer, and stroke. The book includes numerous recipes which contain nutritional information on a number of nutrients (some recipes have been analyzed more extensively than others), and 20 days of menus which provide less than 1500 kilocalories per day.
