All Quiet on the Western Front: Curriculum Unit

Ten lessons prepare students to read the novel, afford opportunities to become personally involved in the reading, provide in-depth studies of the characters, examine the author's use of poetic language, and give students a chance to write about their reactions. Students also examine the structural elements of the novel, including setting, symbolism, plot structure, and point of view. Grades 9-12. (CFL331)
