About
Clarence Darrow was an American lawyer and one of the leaders of the American Civil Liberties Union. Today he is best known for defending Leopold & Loeb during the famous murder case, and for arguing on behalf of a teacher who taught evolution in the Scopes trial against William Jennings Bryan. Darrow also wrote Crime: Its Cause and Treatments.
