They are coping with the aftermath of a huge oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico during the summer of 2010. Pierre is greeted by a supernatural creature "The Petite Guardian Gator." Petite Guardian Gator explains that he is from the great mystery of the swamp and will help Pierre guard his Acadian legacy as a Louisiana sportsman.As the summer unfolds Pierre, T-Boy, and Harry are joined by their friends Mary Grace and Peggy Sue. The group of friends plan ways to raise money and help their neighbors during this time of crisis. Pierre learns valuable lessons about faith, family, and culture under the watchful eye of Petite Guardian Gator.
