Nederland kent talloze piepkleine musea. Soms zijn ze niet groter dan de huiskamer van de eigenaar. Wie kent het Electro Radio Nostalgie Museum, Jannie's Koeienmuseum, het Zandlopermuseum of het Nederlands Dakpannenmuseum? Fotograaf Maartje ter Horst raakte gefascineerd door de kleinste musea van Nederland en hun eigenaren. Ze selecteerde 20 fotogenieke musea, verdeeld over heel Nederland. Het levert prachtige, vaak ontroerende beelden op. De verhalen van de museumeigenaren zijn met humor, maar ook groot respect opgetekend.
