"Op 9 november 2010 vond aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam het tweede NILG-congres plaats. Het congres had als thema 'Het publieke van het privaatrecht: hoe regulering van publieke belangen het privaatrecht beïnvloedt.' Tijdens het congres werd in het bijzonder stilgestaan bij de invloed die via overheidsregulering op privaatrechtelijke verhoudingen wordt uitgeoefend. Die beïnvloeding stelt privatisten en publiekrechtjuristen voor grote uitdagingen. Dat geldt zowel voor de privaatrechtelijke (zelf- )regulering als voor handhaving van die verhoudingen."--Back cover.
