About
"Results of a good survey of Bolivia's prevailing political attitudes on Aug. 14, 1993, only days after President Gonzalo Sánchez de Lozada took office. Date is particularly useful, as Sánchez de Lozada achieved power with one of Bolivia's highest rates of popular support since the transition to democracy in 1982. Provides good data on opinions, attitudes, and behaviors of Bolivians. Shows, for example, that despite lack of confidence in political institutions such as parties, legislatures, and judiciaries, Bolivians preferred democracy to authoritarian government"--Handbook of Latin American Studies, v. 57.
