In February of 1658 Scania, Halland and Blekinge were ceded to Sweden after the Swedish King Gustav had checkmated a paralysed the Danish council of the realm and the Danish king with his army through a daring and adventurous expedition across the ice of the Great Belt. This book deals with the first twenty years after the cession and up to the end of the so-called Scanian war in 1679, which constituted the large-scale Danish attempt to recapture what had been lost. Among other things the book examines the attitude of the Scanian clergy towards the transition from Danish to Swedish. [BOOK IS IN DANISH LANGUAGE ONLY]
