About
I love writing poetry and have always found passion in the art I do. It is an escape from a world of darkness and discomfort. I take all things that bother me, I embrace it and then channel it into a piece of art. When I speak, I occasionally stammer, but what I realize is that my writing style is much different, almost a different language entirely. I realize, this is what I am good at. I want to encourage everyone lost in darkness to find that escape, that art form, and harness it. When I write books and stories I use elements of that poetic language, but it is in poetry that it is purely poured out onto the paper. I have been influenced by other artists and things such as the Bible, as well as Emily Dickinson, Lewis Carroll, William Shakespeare, Marilyn Manson, Clive Barker, and many others. Like me, they can be thought of as outcasts, and that is what I see myself in the art of Christian fiction. I am an outcast, a rebel, a revolutionary thinker, partly because I do not use or follow a particular rule or law with any of the art forms I create. I just let it flow out from my heart. Those who like what I have created, those are the ones who accept me for who and what I am. That is what makes true fans and friends. These poems are deep revelations of the darkness within and the light I found within, as well as how I embraced the darkness and transformed it into light. So I encourage others to do the same, to find your art and harness it.
