Delta, the Duck Who Was Afraid of Water

Delta the Duck was a fabulously beautiful little female mallard duckling. She was hatched in the beautiful lake regions of southern Canada. She was an intelligent and inquisitive duckling, greatly admired by family and friends alike. Delta and her brother Dudley loved the cool, refreshing waters of Shimmering Looney Lake, where they made their summer home at the northern tip of the Mississippi Flyway.All was peaceful and serene in Delta's life until one day on a glorious spring morning when she felt something brush against her foot while taking a casual swim. Startled, yet still confident, she saw nothing in the water. Then, when something brushed against her other foot, Delta became quite alarmed!
