Thomas H. Harvey of Dinwiddie/Sussex/Norfolk County VA and Saline County MO, where he moved in 1838. Obtained title of Major through service in VA militia. Born 20 Feb 1799 in VA, died 25 Jan 1852 (or 1853 depending on source) in Saline Co MO. Buried alongside second wife Elizabeth S. Edwards at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Saline County, MO. Owned large farms in Point Pleasant and Waverly VA prior to move to Missouri. Online abstract of the book at Rootsweb's Harvey-L mailing list gives names of several children, other relatives, including brother Lewis, and some slaves.
