From the point of view of the ecological paradigm, the reading of reality is enriched with the systemic presuppositions to which the human being integrates itself in the processes and the vital cycles. The reading of space, made territorial, accentuates the human protagonism in the signification of the material forms, emphasizing the social dimension of the geographical environment. In the light of Creation, according to the integrated and relational view of the Christian faith, the human being is also nature. These three modes of facing reality, put in dialogue, show the importance of interdisciplinary work to elaborate a socio-environmental ethics, in which different fields of knowledge are stimulated to seek forms of cooperation to understand reality and to plan transformative actions.
