Defending the Galaxy

This is a review, and behind the scenes, look at the culture of video games. There are several grey scale screenshots to various games, photographs of arcades, and explanations of how they work. There is tips on how to beat games, as well as what do at arcades, and what types of clothes to wear while playing in public. There are lists of arcade locations, a list of high scores for several games, a list of books about video games, and even a Lexicon, describing various slang words used when playing games. It is presented in a magazine style format, with two columns for each p[age, and the occasional topper, or footer, giving special news, or information. There are also a series of illustrations, besides the screenshots, and photographs. The book was originally priced at $4.95.
