Four Kandyan families from the Maha Disawani of Matale, Uva and Dumbara Pasrata

Madduma Bandara Rambukpotha alias Bennie Rambukpotha, b:circa 1904During the Japanese occupation he and his family were in internment, and the last news to reach his family in Ceylon was a telegram to his mother stating that Bennie Rambukpotha had died at a Military Hospital in Singapore during the early months of Japanese Occupation. Every effort to trace his wife or the two daughters has drawn a blank to this day.
