About
Contemporary and historical architecture as patrimonial legacy. The book presents contemporary buildings of commercial, institutional, cultural or mixed use built from the beginning of the 20th century to the present throughout Chile. The curatorial criterion considers the validity of these works over time and their value as heritage, given both the architectural quality of their design, as well as their use and meaning within the city. The selection also aims to highlight those economically profitable buildings, which do not depend on the State for their maintenance and management.
