About
The Building Tribunales (also known as Building Tucapel) was built in 1961 and designed by architect P. Schoeufeld, and is considered one of the benchmarks of the first modernist period of the city of Concepción. The book documents the curatorial work of artist Leslie Fernández and Óscar Concha developed within the framework of the social and cultural project "Móvil", cycle 2015 / 2016, in which sound, plastic and visual artists participated, together with photographers and architects. The book presents different looks on the building and consists of conversations with the participants of this project, addressing its approach to modern theory, and with theoretical essays that structure the text around three thematic areas: urbanism, architectural design and restoration.
