About
This is a report submitted as a pre-digital BA in sociology honours thesis. It discusses the historical treatement of women by the medical profession and reports on findings from a participatory action research project conducted with women in the Sudbury area. A focus was on the role and desirability of healh centres dedicated to women. The author concluded that participants were more inclined to want health care open to all family members but provided with feminist principles.
