When Brandon Haggerty is taken from his home one night, his best friend, Ryan Foreman, believes it was the boogeyman. Ryan’s mother, Julia, insists there is no such thing as the boogeyman.
Meanwhile, someone is murdering the citizens of Shady Grove. When two people close to Julia are murdered, she starts to wonder if the boogeyman is the same person leaving disturbing poems on his victim’s bodies, calling himself the Slasher.
As Julia’s doubts continue to grow, the terror gets closer. Julia refuses to believe in the boogeyman. Then, when terror hits home, Julia is forced to hear the entire truth. A truth that is very disturbing.
Will she be able to keep her family safe? Will the police be able to stop the Slasher?
It all comes down to the shocking end.
