In Dexter Has a Dream, Dexter is taken back in time to meet four very different people who give a clue about how these and other words got their spellings. He meets Mr. Kenneth Kent, Mr. Gordon Gray, Mrs. Beatrice Bell Bonnet and a funny cowboy named Willie. Dexter’s new friends inspire him to study hard for his big Spelling test and prove to his teacher and to himself that he can learn even the most unique spelling words!
