Os três autores desta obra vêm pesquisando sobre as imagens e letramentos visuais há pelo menos duas décadas. Seus mestrados e doutorados tocaram os estudos sobre a imagem, em perspectivas multifacetadas. Assim, este livro investiga as imagens (fotografias, memes, cenas de filmes, obras de arte, etc.) em contextos de educação linguística e formação docente e defende que os Letramentos Visuais devem fazer parte das práticas pedagógicas nas aulas de línguas e de formação. The three authors of this work have researched images and visual literacies for at least two decades. Their master's and doctoral dissertations have investigated the studies of images, in multifaceted perspectives. Thus, this book presents Visual Literacies as essential pedagogical practices in language and teacher education classes.
