ABOUT THE BOOK Jodi Picoult’s career began with the DC Comics Wonder Woman series, and she has since become one of the world's best known authors.Her first novel, Nineteen Minutes, shot to the number one position on the New York Times Bestsellers List when it was published in 2007, paving the way for the impressive body of work that has followed. Picoult was born in Nesconset, Long Island, to two non-practising Jewish parents. Even at a very young age, Picoult demonstrated her love for writing and wrote a story titled "The Lobster Which Misunderstood." Aged thirteen years old, she moves from Nesconset to New Hampshire and continued to demonstrate her love for writing throughout her high school years.
