About
If you are a seeker of truth, of real people and factual happenings, then Clementina, Historia sin fin was written for you. Is the self published autobiographical dramatic story of a very courageous, idealistic young girl, from Penuelas, a small Porto Rican town, who fled the closely protective family life back home, and eventually clawed her way to a top governmental position in the State of Illinois;only to find herself inexorably enmeshed in an atmosphere of wrongdoers, political figures. It is a tale interwoven with debauchery and perversion of people in top executive positions and a sordid exposure of narcotic-influenced wrongdoing and corruption, by people whose positions importantly influence our lives. Is the tale of a girl grown up to womanhood, who produced for the people, but not for the whims and fancies of the demanding and demeaning male administrators for whom she worked ever since her arrival to the mailnland United States. Is a story of abuse and misuse of today's competitive women and young girls with stars in their eyes and aching hearts. A tale of infrequent laughter, but one of great pathos and tribulations. A story of human conflicts and emotions. One that pulls at the heart-strings of all women and the price they must pay for survival. A startling, faithfuly told autobiography, which remarkably takes us back to the 1950's and her young naive ex-husband involvement with a lawless radical group, then known as the Porto Rican nationalists, "fighting for the independence of Porto Rico", and the assassination attempt against the then, President of the united States, Harry S. Truman. It reveals her cooperation with the FBI and her courageous and somehow risky efforts to thwart and protect our nation and the innocent victims of the 1954, historically recorded, as a senseless and demented shooting spree in the United States House of Representatives. She also takes us back to the 1960's, Daley political machinery and the Porto Rican population of those times. Clementina, Historia sin fin is the story of a life not yet fulfilled, of a Porto Rican woman, with an unwavering thirst for fairness and justice, at any cost.
