About
If you can find a copy, Max Sackheim's book shows you how to apply basic advertising to selling yourself and your ideas. Good reading for all of us these days. In the late '70's, Mr. Sackheim was a member of the Clearwater (FL) Advertising Federation. Another of his titles, "My First 65 Years in Advertising" gives you an idea about his expertise. He was instrumental in the development of the negative election form of direct marketing where the merchant will send the book ***unless*** you sent in a card telling him not to send it. He also was a major influence in introducing the American Express card to the American public. A member of the Copywriters Hall of Fame, he is informative and witty. A very good book.
