Marathon

Inside DJ flap: Had somebody else been writing this book about Clarence DeMar he might have called it, "As Thousands Cheer." But Clarence DeMar has chosen for his own book the simeple title, Marathon. To thousand of people the word marathon means Clarence DeMar, undoubtedly the greatest marathoner in modern times. .... Here is his story, in fact two stories; one of his life and one of his running. Few famous atheletes could have a more interesting story to tell; still fewer could tell it better.
