Amanda Unt

Amanda Unt, a sixth grader in New York, has her friends, her family and her good grades. She has all she could possibly want... except a boyfriend that she thinks will find her through true love. When a mysterious love note addressed to her finds its way into her binder before PE, she thinks she has it all, and sets out to find out who sent the note. Her friends help her, and she feels that she could not feel better. Soon, however, the group's gossip girl spreads the word, making a difficult choice a reality: her friends or her admirer? Amanda thinks she can have both at her side. But not all events are as black-and-white as they seem, and finding out the truth is hard enough for anyone, but when it's a New York sixth grader, she can and will make mistakes. When Amanda finds out that the note is not what it looks like, she will lose her friends... if she continues on her current path.
