Studies In The Kingdom Of God

“Studies In The Kingdom of God” is two volumes in one. The first volume, “Our Father…Yours is the Kingdom,” discusses the reality and nature of the Kingdom of God, while the second volume, “Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done,” discusses the presence and activities of the Kingdom of God on the earth in and through His Kingdom people. Both volumes give a scriptural and theological foundation for these various aspects of the Kingdom of God, while providing practical instruction, small group questions and leader notes at the end of each chapter, and some real-life examples of those who have witnessed and experienced the activities of the Kingdom of God, throughout Church history and in today’s world. The Kingdom of God was the central focus of the life and ministry of Jesus and the early Church believers. Jesus said, "I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose." Before He left to return to the Father, Jesus commissioned those who would be His followers to proclaim the Kingdom of God as a witness to the nations. What is the Kingdom of God and how do we proclaim it as a witness to the nations? We need to effectively answer this question if the Kingdom of God is to truly be the incentive for and central focus of the Great Commission activities taking place in and through our lives.
