"She"lock: A Death in the Desert

Detective-for-hire, Harlow Shelock, is back! This time, reuniting with her old friend, Kay Watson, on a very groovy mystery. When Kay decides to go on an expedition to Nevada for the popular festival Desert Burn, it's not all tans and glow sticks. In the thick of the festivities, Kay returns to the RV to take a breather. What does she find inside? The dead body of a woman nicknamed, "Rainbow." After Kay sounds the alarm and returns to the vehicle, she finds the corpse missing. Was it just a bad trip, or something more sinister?

Back in New York, Kay can't get the incident out of her mind. She seeks out her old sorority sister, the mysterious Harlow Shelock. Despite the fact they haven't spoken in years, Shelock is interested in the case. The timing couldn't be better, as Kay receives a call from her compadre from Desert Burn. Rainbow is missing, along with another attendee, a woman by the name of Amber.

Coincidence? Or are people finally lending credence to Kay's wild story about a death in the desert? Shelock and Kay are set on finding out the truth, as they delve into the mystery. But one of them get's in over her head; making a bargain that may cost her more than a festival admission fee; it could mean her very life.
