The Lovers Grim

The Lovers Grim. This is what makes this book so funny. The pure essence of the book is that the writer brings the "seriously funny" side of each relationship mingling it with the sadness of incongruous love and yet, with a hope for the future that forces you to keep the book in hand to read the next short story. The leading lady could so very likely be (or have been) you (or your girlfriend). Those of us who are older will be taken down the thorny paths we travel (with rose coloured glasses) in search of love. Those of you who are young in love will gather some wisdom from the characters' experiences. Whoever you are, this book of short stories is delightfully easy to read ...but do not speed read, you may just miss the little tricks of language that the author throws at you. This gives these stories charm and wit that makes this read all the more special.
