About
Fleeing from the very man she thought to be the love of her life, Mason, Rhayne ends up in a small town far from Newport News, VA. To cover her and her newborn son's tracks, she changes her name to what her life seems to be representing at the time, Storm. As the years pass, Storm seems to be getting her life back. She finds a new job, friends, Tiana and Xavier, and eventually a new love in Nasir, Xavier's brother. Her son, Mahlyek is now a senior in high school and making big noise on the basketball court, along with his best friend, which happens to be Tiana and Xavier's son, Junior. But once their big game is shown on Sportscenter, Storm's cover that she fought so hard to keep under wraps is now blown, but she has no clue. Mason knows he messed up with Rhayne by cheating and abusing her. He finally sees the errors in his ways and want to make this right with her, but after making it home after being gone for almost two weeks, he was too late. Rhayne packed up their son and all the money in his safe and left. Although he never laid eyes on his son, he dream of his face many of nights, and when one of his dreams played out in front of him on the TV screen, he dropped everything to go and get his family back. But when he laid eyes on his son, he get a surprise of his own. Little did Mason know, the small town that Rhayne ended up in, he's more connected to than he knows and in more ways than one.
