About
If you are a beginner to Yoga then this is the book for you. Takes you day-by-day into exercises that will make your body supple and strong in a month., if you follow the program. or, if you cannot stretch to the fullest within the month, repeating the 30 days will be of a wondrous effect on your body and health . The exercises are not taxing but are rather gentle and invigorating. You will even learn to stand on your head! This book, originally published in the late 1960's and then had re-printings in the 1970's is a unique and timeless arrangement of exercises that will give your spine the lithe, graceful, willowy adaptability that will not allow you to look or feel old as you age. Easy to follow photos and simple instructions, along with (as stated) the exclusive organized movements from easy to more difficult in a particular form of gradation that will ensure you stay agile limber all of your life. If you are already a practitioner of Yoga, this book may still be for you, if you have not been able to achieve the more difficult twists and bends of the life giving and life affirming activity. If you want to carry yourself with the vitality of youth into your 60's, 70's and 80's then buy and practice this hatha (physical) art form of exercise aligned and organized by Richard Hittleman. I highly recommend it!
