About
Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Mamed Khalidov is a Chechen-Polish mixed martial artist, competing in the Middleweight division of Polish MMA promotion KSW. Khalidov is currently undefeated in the promotion and holds the KSW Light Heavyweight Championship belt. He recently made his Sengoku debut, knocking out Middleweight Champion Jorge Santiago in the first round. In December 2010 Khalidov received Polish citizenship, but maintains close links to Chechnya, visiting Grozny five times a year. Khalidov has fought in eight different KSW events, which more often than not feature a tournament with either four or eight participants. However, he has never participated in a tournament in the promotion, instead fighting individually such opponents as Daniel Tabera. Khalidov made his US debut with EliteXC on their October 10, 2008 ShoXC card against American Jason Guida. After almost two hard-fought rounds, Khalidov stopped Guida on the feet with an unanswered torrent of punches
