Proceedings of the final symposium on the results of the Joint Soviet-American Expedition held in Leningrad, May 12-17, 1974. The expedition, conducted in 1973, was aimed at developing techniques for microwave remote sensing of some atmospheric parameters, sea-roughness conditions, sea-surface wind speed and temperature, ice dynamics, types of ice and characteristics of ice cover.
