Ser Medico

On being a doctor is a book written for students who course especially the first years of the medical career. That's the reason why the author particularly dedicates it "to my students, my children and to my children, my students". The book treats on teaching and learning in Medicine, different models of medical curricula, science and ethics in Medicine, and the importance of a patient centered Medicine, among distinct aspects linked to this profession. It is proposed a return to Hippocrates not in a strict sense but as a current need for recover a forgotten humanization in times of a dehumanized Medicine.
