After the tragic loss of memory and a successful recovery of health and his daughter, Professor Wilczur returns to his old job at the clinic. However, the intrigues of his former deputy, Jerzy Dobraniecki, cause the Professor, now consciously, to leave the capital and return to the mill Prokop.
