Life Lessons Learned Through Unfortunate Experiences: The Acquisition of an Existence

This book is a collection of feelings and reactions, cries of needs that I want so badly to fulfill. My goal is for the world to hear the screams of a man (me) in a threatened existence, screams that emerge as philosophies, essays, and poems. These are collections of writings from different stages of my life while dealing with the ugly reality of being colored in America. It is up to you what you learn from this, but a good read can be guaranteed! I am a fighter for social justice, willing to risk my life for the acquisition of an existence for those denied social justice. Many of the years of my young adult life were spent causing destruction and sometimes self-destruction. I left my prison cell in 2014 and vowed to never commit those acts ever again. I work closely with community activist organizations and devote much of my time to helping implement solutions to this degrading, life-destroying system.
