Lectures on the Book of Acts

The book of acts is a vital guide to Christians today. God has given us in this story of early-day Christianity a pattern of Christian testimony, missionary effort, world evangelism, and building of Christian churches. Although it is usually called "The Acts of the Apostles," this book is largely limited to the ministry of Peter and Paul. More apt titles would be "The Acts of the Holy Spirit," or "The Acts of the Risen Christ through the Holy Spirit Working in the Church Here on Earth." Dr. Ironside has said, "I am firmly convinced that in these days of departure from the faith in so many different ways, we need to give greater attention than ever before to the divinely inspired record of the early days of the Church and the beginning of its world-wide missionary program.
