Cassidy Black knows a fast-paced life at the Montabella in the glittering grit of Las Vegas. What she doesn't know is that people are bent on kidnapping her to collect an old debt. What Cassidy wants is to run away with her boyfriend, what she does is dig up a time capsule to avoid a curse and makes a discovery that unleashes an unrelenting torment. While Cassidy is muddled in the mayhem, her father, Nicholas "Sonny" Black, receives a childish-looking ransom note and must find Cassidy to determine if it's a hoax. What Sonny wants is to impress investors with the way he is running the Montabella. What Sonny does is throw a party, and treats important guests to much more than the planned entertainment when a former showgirl returns and ignites a smoldering conflict. What Cassidy and Sonny want is to lead their own lives, while keeping the Montabella operating smoothly, and holding a family relationship together. But can they do it?
