When the London private detective Nea Fox takes on the job of recovering an inconspicuous item seemingly stolen at random, she has no idea that the theft has set in motion a series of cataclysmic events, whose origins lie many years in the past. The search leads her to the twisted alleys of Chinatown and on the trail of an unscrupulous criminal organization shying away from nothing to destroy the mysterious object.
