Tristan and Isolde

A contemporary update of the medieval myth of the lovers Tristan and Isolde, the tale has been transported to Santa Barbara, CA, in the mid-1990s. Follow Margaret Waters and Horace Early as they each experience an extraodinary day that ends with them meeting each other and falling in love. The story then reveals their life together over next few years through triumphs and tragedies.

Margaret, successful in her career, faces pressure from her family as she joins them at the hospital for the birth of her sister's child. She questions herself about her goals in life and what she truly desires.

Horace, waiting for the application process to the FBI to complete itself, buries an old family friend. He then ponders the nature of his existence.

Unsettled by their experiences of the day, Margaret and Horace meet at a local bar and the magical attraction begins.

Life does not end at happily ever after so their story continues after their initial courtship and examines the pressures that modern life and personal choices bring to bear on a relationship between two people.
