When the mirage fades

Adeola Ike's "When The Mirage Fades" paints a vivid picture of down-to-earth salient issues of life. The story portrays the life of a young lady, Adeyoosola Ajayi, whose journey to stardom is fraught with many challenges, uncertainties, fears, doubts, misfortune, euphoria, anguish and disappointment. There are people who believe that success and self-fulfillment in life is contingent upon an individual's God-ordained destiny and therefore, it's so sacrosanct that it shouldn't be handled with levity. On the other hand, there are categories of people who are of the view that the pursuit of success has little or nothing to do with God's involvement; rather, it is largely by dint of hard work and sheer determination.
