Carly Mottinger, an award-winning and best-selling author, has a diverse background in writing and film. Born and raised in Northern California, Carly honed her craft at the USC School of Cinematic Arts and earned her MFA. After graduating, she worked as a staff writer for Nickelodeon and sold her first children's book (*Lights, Camera, Lexi!*) to Disney Junior.
