William Schiff

William Schiff is a retired Professor of Applied Psychology, New York University. His specialties are visual and tactual perception, and older drivers' performances on inexpensive simulators. He has written/edited several book on perception, including "Perception: an applied approach." Houghton Mifflin, 1980; Tactual perception: a sourcebook (Cambridge Univ Press, 1982) (with Emerson Foulke), "The psychology of touch" (Erlbaum, 1991) (with Morton Heller), and The active eye stack guidebook" (with Michael Mills), (Erlbaum, 1988).
